Brief Bio
After earning a B.A. in Music at the University of California at Berkeley and attending the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) in Los Angeles, Carlos Palomares taught and performed guitar extensively in the San Francisco area for over a decade.
Carlos moved to Ann Arbor, MI where he earned a M.A. in Musicology with an Ethnomusicological emphasis at the University of Michigan. He currently teaches Music Theory 1 the elements of music and music notation to a diverse student body with a wide range of music experience and training at Washtenaw Community College.
